Position Overview:
We’re looking for a strategic and experienced Global Director of Total Rewards to lead our global compensation and benefits strategy. This role will be instrumental in attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent through the development of competitive and equitable Total Rewards programs. The ideal candidate combines global business acumen with deep expertise in compensation, benefits, and reward structures across multiple countries, enabling data-driven workforce decisions. Experience working in a public company, including preparing materials for board and compensation committee meetings, is essential. You will lead a global team and partner with HR and business leaders to drive impactful, scalable reward practices that support talent attraction, retention, and organizational effectiveness across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the global strategy and governance of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities, market competitiveness, internal equity, and managing executive and board-level compensation
- Prepare total rewards insights and data for board and compensation committee meetings, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and strategic alignment in executive communications.
- Lead HR data analytics to identify trends, generate actionable insights, and support decisions that drive performance, retention, and engagement, while developing dashboards and reporting tools to monitor program impact.
- Oversee global HR operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable processes, driving continuous improvements to streamline workflows and enhance employee and manager experience.
- Lead the strategy and optimization of HRIS platforms, ensuring accurate data management, reporting, compliance, and alignment with the evolving needs of the business.
- Serve as a member of the Center of Excellence (COE) management team, contributing to the overall HR strategy and collaboration across functions.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, including at least 5 years in a global or regional leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of global compensation and benefits practices, including base pay, variable incentives, equity programs, and regulatory compliance across multiple markets. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, benchmark effectively, and design competitive, equitable reward structures. Proven experience working in public companies, including preparing materials for boards and compensation committees.
- Experience working with global vendors to manage benchmark surveys, ensuring accurate market data and insights to inform total rewards strategy.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to lead and inspire a global team, driving alignment and execution of total rewards initiatives that support business goals. Skilled in managing cross-functional projects, navigating ambiguity, and delivering results in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in total rewards programs.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to partner effectively with HR leaders, Finance, business stakeholders, and executive teams. Ability to build trust, influence decision-making, and foster a collaborative culture across diverse regions and functions
- Ability to work effectively and adapt quickly in a fast-growing, dynamic organization, managing evolving priorities and driving results amid change and increasing complexity.
