Claroty is seeking an experienced and passionate Research and Development Group Manager to lead and inspire one of our talented engineering groups. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation, oversee the development of best-in-class solutions for managing the lifecycle of construction projects, and shape the future of technology at Claroty.

As an Engineering group Manager, you will lead multiple R&D teams and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and impactful solutions. You’ll provide strategic direction, foster a culture of excellence and innovation, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

As a Group Manager, your impact will be:

  • Lead and mentor engineering Team Leads, tech leads, and architects to achieve their potential and deliver exceptional results.
  • Oversee the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to quality standards.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define priorities, roadmaps, and strategic goals.
  • Guide architectural decisions and ensure the implementation of scalable, maintainable, and innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with product, design, and business teams to align engineering efforts with company objectives.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure project and operational success.
  • Attract, retain, and grow top engineering talent, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and inclusion.
  • Drive engineering excellence with a focus on quality, scalability, resilience, and automation.
  • Actively champion a collaborative, innovative, and continuous improvement-driven culture.
Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • 5+ years of experience in managing multiple teams and leading engineering managers or team leads.
  • Experience in building enterprise-grade products - must
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
  • Self-learner – Ability to take on new technologies (and there are many!), research, and implement new solutions.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with various aspects of computer networking - Advantage
  • Experience with on-premises systems - Advantage
  • Experience in Network Security and Cyber Security – Advantage
  • Possesses a strong understanding and knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial networks or devices - Advantage
  • Awareness of relevant industry standards and regulations related to OT and industrial cybersecurity.  - Advantage
