We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our Video Player and Monetization Technology team. In this role, you will lead our test automation efforts and play a key role in transforming our testing strategy to be fully automated, improving test pipelines and supporting live debugging of production issues. You’ll work closely with developers, testers, and support teams to ensure the high performance, scalability, reliability, and quality of our video player products and backend services.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the automation vision and roadmap for video player UI and backend services testing.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for the video player currently tested manually.
- Design and implement automated performance validation processes for the video player across multiple versions.
- Rewrite and extend automated test coverage for all Video Management and Player Management backend services.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
- Collaborate with the support team to investigate bugs, reproduce issues, and deliver fixes backed by automation validation.
- 5+ years of senior-level experience in test automation, with a focus on both frontend and backend systems.
- Solid experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar).
- Strong programming/scripting skills (preferably in GO lang, JavaScript, or Python).
- Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure from the ground up, utilizing the tools listed above (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Experience working with AWS services like SQS, S3, SNS etc.
- Ability to work in cross-functional agile teams.
