DevOps Engineer

Personetics is an enterprise-software growth-phase Fintech start-up. We develop AI-powered solutions helping banks deliver highly intelligent and personalized banking experiences to their customers across all digital channels. We’re pioneering and establishing a whole new category of consumer banking based around data-driven personalization and customer engagement.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong technical background. This role requires a hands-on leader who is not only proficient in modern DevOps technologies but can also inspire and guide the team toward excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving technical initiatives, optimizing our infrastructure, and ensuring best practices across our cloud environments.

• Facilitate the development process and operations of all Personetics stack on cloud
•  Lead technical workshops and advise the DevOps.
•  Improve and continuously design efficient practices.
• Deliver comprehensive best practices.
•   Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to repeating issues
• Serve as subject matter expert on cloud deployments, best practices, security.
• Work with R&D, Product and Operations teams on best practices, driving technology, efficiency and enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical guidance and support.
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
•  Manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
•  Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth code deployments and automations.
•  Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting across environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
•  Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve team efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Maintain strong security standards across all environments

•   5+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
•  Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s), including Helm, networking, and security.
•  Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
•   Advanced knowledge of at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Expertise in CI/CD processes, including tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
•  Excellent understanding of networking, including VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS, and security groups.
•  Proven experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
•   Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proactive, with a strong drive to learn and bring new ideas to the team
